The final wording of this policy has not been published. What follows describes how the site works today, so the page is useful in the meantime. It is not a legal document and creates no obligation on either side.

How the site behaves today
- Now Most profiles here were built from publicly available listings. The person or promotion shown did not create them, has not verified them, and may not know they exist.
- Now You can ask for a correction or removal without creating an account, using the request form. It needs no sign-in and no claim first.
- Now Every request goes into a queue an administrator reads and marks up, and you get a reference number to quote.
- Now Claiming a profile is a separate thing: it is for taking over a profile you want to keep and manage, and it does require an account.
- Planned A stated timeframe for responding to a request.
- Planned How identity is checked for a removal request, and what happens when the person asking is not the person shown.
Still to be decided
Shown here rather than hidden in a backlog — these are the open questions this page cannot answer yet.
- How quickly a request will be answered, and whether to publish that commitment.
- What verification to require before removing a profile, weighed against the fact that demanding documents from someone who never signed up is its own barrier.
- Whether a removed profile is deleted outright or unpublished and retained, and for how long.
- The position on factual event records - past appearances and results - when a person asks for their profile to be removed.
- Whether a removal request should suppress the profile from search engines immediately, before it has been reviewed.
